Our High-Grade Turmeric Blend is an excellent product with the highest quality ingredients. The spices are not radiated to kill off the bacteria but are steam treated. You might be surprised to hear that radiation is the most common way of dealing with unwanted bacteria and is probably found on every spice shelf in a supermarket. Even if we pay a higher price to steam treat the spices, we are happy to offer you – our customers/friends the best possible product.
We source all of our product ingredients from farmer-oriented sources that promote the development of rural farming communities through fair compensation for farmers and labourers, creating a high standard of living for these hard workers. These farms produce high-quality crops and maintain crop purity through safe and pesticide-free cultivation while ensuring a commitment to preserving biodiversity.
Our main ingredient, the Alleppey Finger Turmeric, comes from Kerala, cultivated in the Alleppey region at an altitude of 300 m. It provides the best possible climatic and soil conditions for growing high-quality Turmeric, much like the Champagne region of France known for sparkling white wines that bears its name.
What’s so special about Earth Signature Turmeric?
Most Turmeric is cultivated in the Madras region, which is excellent for giving colour to your food. The Madras variety, however, has a very low content of Curcumin – the most active ingredient in Turmeric and is considered to have healing properties. That is why it is essential to check the Curcumin content in the Turmeric you are buying. Earth Signature Turmeric has approximately ~5%-6% Curcumin content, known to be the highest grade of Turmeric available on the market.

Our Turmeric Blend is a wonderful mix of Seven powerful Herbs and Spices, each of which has a role to play in improving your well-being. Unfortunately, the Curcumin in Turmeric is poorly absorbed into the bloodstream. As a result, you could be missing out on its health advantages. However, adding black pepper can help. Research supports that combining the bio-active Piperine in black pepper with the Curcumin in Turmeric enhances curcumin absorption by up to 2,000%

What are E-Numbers:
We are all concerned as soon as we see E-numbers in our food, and we should be. At least we should always find out what those numbers stand for. E doesn’t automatically mean it is a chemical product but can also be naturally sourced. Let us explain our product’s three ingredients, E300, E500, and E960.
E300 – Ascorbic acid ( Vitamin C), an additive approved by the EU (European Union) and used as a natural antioxidant in food and drink products.
E500 – Commonly known as baking soda or Bicarb-soda (sodium Bi-Carbonate), it regulates acidity and is sourced from seawater or salt. It is a natural mineral.
E960 – Steviol glycosides are the sweet compound of the Stevia leaf, which is not consumed as food on its own and is added to food and beverages as a sweetener. Therefore, Stevia is an additive, E960, and cannot be labelled as a ‘natural ingredient’ in the EU. Yet being naturally sourced is one of the critical advantages Stevia has over its artificial varieties like Acesulfame K and Aspartame.

We don’t need to get any special accreditation for our product as we also don’t need steam treatment. Still, we have decided to go the extra mile for you and ensure you will only get the best product. Our products are ISO22000 / HACCP accredited. Each batch is tested per ISO guidelines, ensuring that our products are not contaminated and are almost free of Herbicides and Pesticides.
